About Course

The study of English is central to the learning and development of all young students.  It helps create confident communicators, imaginative thinkers, and informed citizens. It is through the study of English that individuals gain increasing control over language to analyze, understand, communicate and build relationships with others and with the world around them.

Literature and context: Compare and evaluate a range of representations of individuals and groups in different historical, social, and cultural contexts .

Language for interaction: Understand how language use can have inclusive and exclusive social effects, and can empower or disempower people

Text structure and organization:Compare the purposes, text structures and language features of traditional and contemporary texts in different media
